Fair Location and Details

The NEW Fall RIUF 2010 event will have two editions. The main event will be held in Bucharest, the largest city and the capital of Romania, in an exhibition center within the Palace Hall, in the heart of the city. The NEW regional autumn edition of RIUF is organized in Cluj-Napoca, the second largest city in Romania at the Students' Culture Hall, the most reputable exhibition venue in the city. Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca are Romania's main educational centers, with old tradition in university level studies.

Bucharest , is a metropolitan area with a population of almost 3 million, the center of the political, cultural and business activities of the country. Several of Romania's top public and private universities are located in its capital, among which the Bucharest Polytechnic University, the Academy of Economic Studies, the Bucharest University, the Romanian Medical School and the National College for Political and Administrative Studies. The city is host to more than 250.000 university students out of the total of approximately 600.000 in Romania.

Cluj-Napoca, the second largest city in Romania is historically considered the capital of the Transylvania region, with a population close to 400,000. Higher education has a long standing tradition in Cluj-Napoca, starting with 1409. Moreover, it hosts the largest university in the country, Babes-Bolyai University, with students attending courses in Romanian, Hungarian, German and English. More than 100,000 highschool and university students are currently registered in the academic institutions of Cluj-Napoca.
