Visitor's ProfileLearning from the success of the previous editions and from the feedback provided by visitors, exhibitors and partners, the 6th Romanian International University Fair attracted 12.000+ visitors interested to interact with the exhibitors and attend the learning events. Please see below the demographic data from the last editions. We estimate that percentages will mainly stay unchanged as RIUF has reached its early maturity.
Short profile Romanian students academic performance:
Romanian students have constantly proven to excel in academic settings, being accustomed to the rigor of the Romanian secondary educational system. Universities will benefit from the depth Romanian students can bring to class discussions and their ability to perform. Such students will provide the most potential target visitors of RIUF. They will be interested in: collecting information and getting counseling on how to select a university or a graduate program; attending workshops about the application process and others similar. Short profile on Market forces driving students internationally: The need for well prepared professionals in Romania, able to perform at international competitiveness standards, is escalating. International investors coming to Romania are looking for people with the experience and education mandatory to grow successful companies. At the same time, the success stories of Romanian graduates from international universities are multiplying. As a consequence, the interest for international educational options is visibly growing and the number of Romanians attending each year Romanian MBA or other master programs with an international component has increased above 1.000. At RIUF, young professionals will have the possibility to compare Romanian graduate programs with programs from abroad. Among the many attractive points of the fair is also its accessibility: Romanians no longer need to travel to University fairs in Budapest or Istanbul or hunt for various informal presentations. RIUF will still attract interest on behalf of graduate students and young professionals since the market at the moment is overloaded by the lack of seats available in Romania for master and MBA programs as compared to the demand. |
